This Sunday, November 21, 2021 a Carbonara style spaghetti squash.
Preparing spaghetti squash, nothing more exciting! When cooked, the meat is easily released into the fiber. And even if you can’t convince your family that it is real pasta, the little ones will love this funny vegetable.
For 4 people, you will need: 2 small spaghetti squash, 200 grams of bacon, 1 onion, 200 ml of heavy cream, 4 fresh eggs, a few figs, parmesan, salt and pepper.
Cut the squash in half, then cut the seeds and fiber pieces with a spatula. Place the halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cutting sideways. Bake at 180 ° C for 30 to 40 minutes.
Leave to cool, then slice the meat lightly with a fork and dissolve the spaghetti. Grease your bacon quickly in a greased pan. Add the chopped onion (finely chopped) and make the whole “sweat”.
Finally pour in the hot cream and continue cooking for a minute. And while there is no real carbon recipe, here, to bring more flavor to vegetable spaghetti, even using a good cream from Isigny is not in discussion!
Reheat the spaghetti and serve in four soup bowls or toss in the chopped squid shells for more originality. Sprinkle with the resulting sauce and place the egg yolks on top.
Decorate with Parmesan and Chives or any other fragrant herbs. Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
